Los primeros retratos que dibujé resultaron de imágenes que traía a mi memoria, las sostenía mentalmente, y las trazaba en el papel. Posteriormente, capturé fotografías para traducirlas en dibujos, con esto descubrí mi estilo de dibujo: trazos rectos y formas angulosas.

Relaciono mi obra con el movimiento de arte popular porque uso técnicas propias para expresar el entorno con el que me identifico, creo que su belleza es interesante y me cautiva.

Mi gusto por el arte secuencial me ha llevado a relatar con líneas historias cotidianas a las que llamo “dibujos en movimiento” a los que reconozco como arte costumbrista, real, poco pretencioso.

Mi mayor anhelo es crear una novela gráfica.

The first portraits I drew resulted from images that I brought to my memory, held them mentally, and traced them on paper. Later, I captured photographs to translate them into drawings, which led me to discover my drawing style: straight lines and angular shapes.

I relate my work to the folk art movement because I use my own techniques to express the environment with which I identify, I think its beauty is interesting and captivates me.

​

My taste for sequential art has led me to tell everyday stories with lines that I call "drawings in motion" which I recognize as costumbrista art, real, unpretentious.

​

My greatest desire is to create a graphic novel.
